You can always visit Georgian museums where you will find unique enamel works, generally performed on icons. Unfortunately this technique was lost in Georgia in 15-th century.

Nowadays masters are working with other enamel technique, that means filling decorative frames with different colors of glass, later burned in special ovens.

As it is believed, (according to the lost technique) different colors wereachieved by different burning temperatures. In spite of that enamel is becoming more and more popular among art specialists and usual consumers.
